Activities Programme

Montecillo’s Activities Programme is arranged and organised by our Activities Coordinator. Our Activities Coordinator ensures that the individual preferences of each resident are met and that the weekly programmes are targeted to address the areas of greatest need - that of physical and mental frailty - but mostly to be enjoyed.

 

Each Resident needs to feel they are worthwhile and a valued member of our Home, so the activity programme is through consultation with Residents and families to ensure Residents are stimulated physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

Activities include:

  • Entertainers - pianists, singers and groups

  • Special ‘celebration days’

  • Special visitors - sports celebrities and the like

  • Guest speakers

  • Weekly Housie and daily Newspaper readings

  • Outings to special events 

           

24 Hour Nursing

Recognition and support of individual requirements by caring and dedicated staff.
